MUJI HAUL!!

I recently ordered some Muji drawers and they came today, YAY!!! So I ripped open the box took off the many layers of bubble wrap and foam on the corners (took me a while!). But I've been wanting some Muji drawers for a while and with many other beauty bloggers using these I thought why not.

The drawers all wrapped up!
Don't they look all brand new!
I purchased the Acrylic box 2 drawers wide and this was £10.95 and then the Acrylic box 1 drawers wide for £7.95. With a bit added on for shipping, which was around £3-4.

My new drawers with my makeup in.

With a very small makeup collection at present these three drawers definitely fitted my makeup collection. Also I'm very impressed with the quality of these drawers and definitely wouldn't hesitate to buy some more in the future.

My Spring Wish List.

Hi, after a long, cold winter I feel some hot weather is needed here in the UK i find myself lusting after pieces of clothing that can perhaps be worn when the weather reaches it's warmer climes.

The first item I've been lusting after is a chambray shirt with shops like Zara, Topshop and H&M all stocking their version of the chambray shirt there is definitely plenty to choose from (with varying price tags too!). It also looks good with anything! Im planning to wear with white skinny jeans (my take on double denim...) or a skirt when the weather is warmer too. For inspiration the lovely Lauren Conrad wears this look as shown below.

Next up on my wish list is a pair of Ray-Bans I've been lusting after a pair of these for a while. Both my parents own his & hers versions of the Wayfarers from 80's! I love these sunglasses and they actually seem to be very effective at protecting the eyes from the sun. The pair I love are on the ASOS website for £130 but i'm waiting to get these on student discount (a very generous 25% discount i cant say no to). As shown below.

And finally is this jacket from Zara it's so beautiful i love the colour of this jacket and it will be perfect for cooler days in the spring and summer. In my opinion Zara can't go wrong with the jackets they bring out and are also amazing quality. The jacket below reminds me of the coloured boucle jacket but with a slightly different take.

Thank you for reading and I think i may post another one of these in the future, depending on how many items i build up on my wish list...

It's a Beauty Haul! Ft. MAC & ELF!

Hello everyone! For my first post I thought I would show a couple of pieces that I have recently purchased from MAC, Nars and ELF. Most the products shown in the haul are blushes because I do like my blushers! :P

The first product that I purchased was from MAC and this was their Studio Moisture Tint with SPF 15 and this was in the shade light. I was advised on this purchase after one of the MAC assistants said that this was a lot lighter than their other foundations and steered me in the direction of a tinted moisturiser. This product is also worn by Millie Mackintosh (from Made in Chelsea) so having heard very little of this products from blogs it was nice to hear that this product had (some sort of) following. I'm very glad I did purchase this because it is perfect on my skin and it gives me that glowing look without being too heavy on the skin and is definitely one that I may purchase again. It has a very creamy texture which I like for applying with either my fingers or using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Then the shading of tinted moisturiser is perfect for my skin having very pale skin I find it very hard to find suitable to find suitable shades that match my skin without looking too orangey. I have tried tinted moisturisers before so I was a little sceptical when I was shown this product in the MAC shop however the assistant applied it to my face using a buffing brush and it looked amazing. Having liked the finish i just found that they were too orange for my skin but having used this for a week I must say that I'm surprised how good it is! Below is a swatch of this shown on my skin before and after it has been rubbed in.

The second product that I have purchased from MAC and this was from their 'Hey, Sailor!' collection and this was in the shade Launch Away. This is a very light coral colour and is perfect for a very light pop of colour on the cheeks which I think will look great in the summertime and i really love this colour because I like quite neutral colours and this product is perfect. Also the packaging of this product is very cool and I like anything with stripes so this product was a MUST!

The next product that I purchased was another blush and this was from NARS. Having never purchased a NARS blush before and hearing the rave reviews about the orgasm blush and when I saw this in the shop i knew that it was the perfect colour. I love the gold shimmer that is in the blush and again would be perfect in the summer weather to brighten up my face. I really like how this product applies because some blushers can be very pigmented which i find makes it hard to blend but with this blush the coverage can be built up depending on the look that you want to go for.

The next product two products that i purchased was from ELF and having heard about ELF on YouTube I decided to make my first purchase. The blush I decided to purchase was from their studio range which is slightly more expensive than their other products. The first colour that i purchased was candid coral and this is beautiful colour and one which i will really enjoy wearing also the price of this blush is amazingly cheap only £3.50!!! I also bought Tickled Pink and these were both very similar in colouring with only a slight difference in shading. (Below is candid coral)

Then the final product that I have purchased was from ELF, this was £1.50 and this was Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in shade Luminance. This is a very light shade that when applied gives a lovely subtle glow I tend to have found using this with a powder brush then applying all over the face. This was perfect shading for pale skin as it isn't too dark but it couldn't be used as a bronzer as it is just a bit too light for my skin.

Hope you enjoyed my haul and please leave any comments below.
